Please note that the Shindig Planner Limited terms and conditions are subject to and governed by Irish Law.
It is the responsibility of each client of Shindig Planner to read the terms and conditions of your booking.

Your booking is bound by these terms.

Shindig Planner is an event management operator which means we are ‘land only’ service.

Shindig Planner is not responsible for passenger travel into or out of Ireland including any delays, cancellations or other hindrance of flights to Ireland.

Your​ ​Booking

We will only deal with the lead booking name in all subsequent correspondence, including changes, amendments and cancellations. You must be 18 years old at the time of booking and possess the legal capacity and authority to book as the lead name and attend a party with us. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the personal details or any other information supplied in respect of yourself and any other person travelling on the booking and for passing on any information regarding the booking or any changes made in relation there, to all persons travelling on such booking, including but not limited to information on schedule changes or copies of booking confirmations.

When you or (if you are booking through a travel agent) your travel agent asks for your booking o be confirmed, we will confirm the booking, and set aside your chosen accommodation and activities (or similar when your chosen accommodation or activity is not available). Next, we will send you or your travel agent a confirmation. We may not be able to confirm some of our ground arrangements straight away. If there is any change to any of the details discussed at the time of booking, we will notify you promptly of any we or changed details, including a change to the total price (if any).

If any detail on the confirmation invoice is not correct tell us or your travel agent immediately. If there is an obvious error on the confirmation invoice we reserve the right to correct it as soon as we become aware of it.


It is a condition of your booking with us that you and all other members of your party, including infants and children, are adequately insured on a booking. Any person who is under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. There may be other restrictions and conditions on some offers.

Shindig Planner are not responsible for any personal injury, property damage or loss a guest incurs arising from acts or omissions by any hotel or other organization. Shindig Planner accepts no responsibility for cancellations of or interruptions to a booking due to delay or changes in schedules, flight cancellations, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, mechanical breakdowns, the actions of any government, weather, acts of

God or circumstances beyond its control or for expenses or losses incurred as a result of any such circumstances. To guard against such unforeseen circumstances, you should have a travel insurance plan before you take your trip.


All prices we advertise are accurate at the date published, but we reserve the right to change any of those prices from time to time.

Your quote is subject to availability and is not booked until a deposit has been received.

We have the right to cancel your booking in circumstances such as there are not enough people booked on your trip or you do not pay the balance of the trip price on time.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking in any circumstances but if we cancel your booking, except where this is because you have not paid, you can either have a refund or accept a replacement trip from us of equivalent or similar standard and price, if we are able to offer you one.

If we change your booking details – We hope that we will not have to make any change to your booking but, because our bookings are planned many months in advance, we sometimes do need to make changes.

We reserve the right to do this at any time. We will let you or your travel agent know about any important changes when you book. If you have already booked, we will let you know as soon as we can, if there is time before your party.

Minimum Numbers

Minimum numbers for self-catering accommodations and activities are 10 people. If your numbers drop below 10 people then you may have to pay the difference. If your numbers drop by 5 or more then there may be an extra charge as quotes are priced on your booking number not your final number. Most accommodation is priced according to the number of people staying there.

If your party size changes, we’ll recalculate your booking cost based on the final number of people going. If fewer people share the accommodation, then the cost per person may go up. This extra cost isn’t a cancellation charge, and it isn’t normally covered by insurance.

Most Activities have a minimum number of 10 people. If your numbers drop below this then the activity might not be able to be done or you may have to pay the difference.

Paying​ ​For​ ​Your​ ​Package

You will be required to pay a one-person deposit to us when you book unless this is within 4 weeks of your party date when the full amount of the booking is payable. You must pay the final balance due to us, at least 4 weeks before your booking date. If you don’t, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and to charge you a cancellation charge up to 100% of the total balance outstanding. Processing fees will be applied to all bookings.

If you pay money for your booking to a travel agent appointed by us, they will hold that money as our agent from the time they receive it until they pay the money to us. In cases where there is a large final payment due we may request payment by bank transfer. If your payment is made by credit card a fee will apply, please check fee at the time of booking.

We do not accept personal cheques.

Payments from the organizer can be made online or over the phone. All payments from group members must be made online.

If​ ​You​ ​Change​ ​Your​ ​Booking

You must ensure all names and details are entered correctly at the time of booking.

You will receive a confirmation document once your booking is confirmed and must contact us straight away if there is something that you need to correct. You may transfer your booking to another person, providing the following conditions are met:

  • You authorize the change in writing
  • The new organiser accepts the transfer and the terms of our agreement
  • That person complies with the terms of the existing booking

Please note that more major changes, including but not limited to, traveling later than planned, changes which lower the basic price of your trip, and changes which result in your trip ceasing to be a Package will be treated as a cancellation and incur the appropriate charges.

Please bear in mind that certain accommodation and activity suppliers and other transport providers treat changes as a cancellation and charge accordingly, up to 100% of the cost for that part of the arrangement.

Where applicable these charges will be passed on to you. When changing your booking details, the price of your new package will be based on the price that applies on the day you make the change.

These prices may not be the same as when you first made your booking.


Guide to our cancellation charges – these charges are based on how many days before your booked party date we receive your cancellation notice and are a percentage of the total cost of your booking.

If you want to cancel one or more passengers on the booking you’ll have to pay a proportion of the applicable cancellation charge for those passengers.

All cancellations must be notified to us in writing immediately.

All deposits are non-refundable, however, if you notify us of your cancelation before your final payment is due, we will transfer the deposit to another mutually agreed date within 12 months of the original party date.

The deposit is non-refundable.

If a cancellation is made more than 28 days prior to the party date, the deposit will be lost and 50% of total remainder of monies owed.

Final payments are due 28 days in advance of the party date. At this point, there will be no refunds to any individual group members.

If the cancellation is made 21 days before the party date, all payments may be transferred as a whole to another mutually agreed date within 12 months of the original party date.

If the cancellation is made within 21 days of the party date, there will be no refunds and monies paid by individual group members cannot be moved to another date.

If you booked using a Low Deposit Offer, the full deposit amount stated on your confirmation invoice will need to be paid upon cancellation.
Refund payments have a 10% handling fee and can take up to 14 days to appear in an account.
Shindig Planner reserves the right to cancel a booking or any part of a booking at any time. If this is the case, all monies will be refunded to you.

Attractions​, Activities​ ​and​ ​Flights

Shindig Planner is not responsible for any attractions or activities that are closed for any reason and therefore not accessible for the visitor.

Shindig Planner are not responsible for any delays outside their control that cause people to miss their flights. Shindig Planner will make every effort on escorted tours to get passengers to the airport on time but are not responsible for any unexpected delays.


Any accommodation we arrange for you must only be used by those people named on your

confirmation invoice (or on latest amendment invoice issued). You are not allowed to share the accommodation or let anyone else stay there. You are responsible for the cost of any damage caused to your accommodation or its contents during your stay. These charges must be met by you and may have to be paid locally.

Self-Catering Accommodation – In self-catering accommodations, bed types will be a mix of doubles, singles and bunk beds.

Accommodation with all single beds will need to be requested in advance.

Room Types

Hotels & B&Bs – All room types are booked as a mixture of double or twin rooms for 2 people sharing, triple rooms for 3 people sharing or quads for 4 people sharing. A triple may consist of one single bed and 1 double bed and a quad may consist of 2 double beds suitable for 4 people.


Unless you have arranged a bus through us then transport is not included in your package price. If we book a bus for you then we will give you a pick up point and time. This will then be your responsibility to be there and on time.
